The requirements of skin are based on skin type. Types of skin are normal, dry, oily, combination and sensitive types. Priming of skin is the most important step that we have to follow on a daily basis. This includes cleansing, toning, moisturising and sunscreens.

Cleansing
Regular face cleansing is the most important factor that must be included in our daily skin routine. Benefits: removes dirt and pollutants from face, hydrates the skin… Based on skin types you can use: Coconut oil, olive oil, gram flour, aromatic turmeric (kasthuri manjal), turmeric powder… According to modern cosmetology you can use Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser, Dermavive hydra cleanser… for all skin types.

Toning
Toning is also important like cleansing. It helps to close pores and tighten cell gaps after cleansing and reduce the penetration of impurities into face thus balancing the PH levels of skin and even the skin tone. Rose water, mint leaves, ice water, lemon, green tea, tomato, aloevera…According to modern aspect you can use Tea tree toner (acne prone skin), Rose toner& Cucumber toner (all skin types).

Moisturizer
Helps to reduce the appearance of blemishes, fights wrinkles, maintains the skin moisture, act as a protective barrier for conditions like eczema. Aromatic turmeric +Basin powder with milk or rosewater according to skin type According to modern science, Cetaphil, Neutriderm moisturising lotion… for all skin types.

Sunscreens
Always wear sunscreen, apply it on your skin every day. After you apply your sunscreen, wait at least 15 minutes before heading outside or putting on makeup so the sunscreen can absorb properly into your skin. Sunscreen of at least SPF30 should be used since it blocks 97% of UVB rays. Benefits: Protects against sunburn, avoid inflammation, redness & hyper pigmentation, and also reduces the risk of skin cancer. It also reduces the signs of aging. Coconut oil, carrot oil, aloevera gel, cold pressed sesame oil can be used as natural sunscreen. According to modern science, Cetaphil, Neutrogena, Hyaluronic acid sunscreen aqua gel…can be used.
